Cell Phone Radiation Lawsuits Revived
November 11th, 2009 meg
The D.C. Court of Appeals last week revived a series of lawsuits by individuals who say they were harmed by cell phone radiation.
The Court of Appeals found that the plaintiffs could not pursue claims that they were injured by phones which met the FCC’s emissions standards.
The decision opens the door for lawsuits for claims against companies that do not meet the FCC’s standards for radio emissions.
Plaintiffs allege they suffered illnesses and injuries including brain cancer due to radiation from their mobile phones.
